Create a spree website with the native app for both iOS and Android in just 30 minutes

Step 1. Let's start with creating a brand new Spree app. Here are the detailed steps.

1.a. Clone the Spree Project

git clone https://github.com/spree/spree_starter.git
cd spree_starter

2.b. Run the setup Script

bin/setup

This will:

Install dependencies gems, set up database and seed sample data for development environment

2.c. Start the Rails server 

bin/dev

3.d. (Optional) Seed Sample Data.

bin/rake spree_sample: load

This adds sample products, categories, and a checkout flow. Note that Spree don't add any default images for any sample products. You can upload images manually after setup.
